Almost Half of Parents Worried about Children's Online Activity

According to a YouGov poll of 2,500 adults, almost half (48%) of all parents are worried about their children's online activity.  Yet 44% of parents admitted that they did not check what their children are up to online.  This raises an interesting question - if so many parents are worried about their children's online activity, why aren't they checking what their children are doing?
